While running his own business he was named 5th largest townhouse builder behind all national home builders by the Charlotte Business Journal. As Division President in Charlotte, Richard grew a national builder from 14th in market share to 5th in market share, all within 3.5 years. Through his tenure for national home builders, Richard spent much of his time growing residential home business divisions. Settling on Hilton Head Island South Carolina in 1989, Richard has created a large network of associates to help his clients succeed. Originally from New York, Richard moved south after earning a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland.
Richard has held top leadership roles with nationally publicly traded builders, as well as private home building companies. Richard Schwartz has been involved with production home building and residential land development for over 30 years.
